A blockbuster story
I studied at Fanshawe for two years and these two years have been very academically rewarding. I took the 3D Animation program at the Downtown Campus (2014-15) and I followed that up with the VFX and Editing program at the Oxford Street Campus (2015-16).
To graduate from my last program on the President's Honour Roll is a very special highlight for me and I am very proud of this achievement. It wouldn't have been possible without the support from my family and friends, my faculty and most importantly the International Centre, who continues to ensure that International students from all across the globe have a smooth transition to a successful Canadian learning experience both inside and outside the classroom.
I am very grateful to Fanshawe College for everything I have learned and achieved here. London is now my Canadian hometown and I was filled with nostalgia on my way there for the ceremony from Toronto.
Fanshawe College and London have given me a lot of wonderful memories that will always stay with me. It is a part of my life that I will always cherish.
I am currently working as a Stereo Compositor at Legend 3D in downtown Toronto. My job involves working as a part of team that works on some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and converts them into 3D and IMAX 3D. It is a very challenging process but it is so much fun!
My first movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them released earlier this month and it was an incredible experience to work on it. It's getting amazing reviews for its 3D and special effects.
Thank you once again for everything. I look forward to always being in touch with Fanshawe and collaborating and contributing in whatever ways I can with the Fanshawe community.
