Fanshawe faculty are committed to helping you learn the skills that will make you successful. Just because lectures are online doesn’t mean you won’t develop rich relationships with our experienced faculty and staff. The Fanshawe Academic Commitment is:

  • All Fanshawe programs delivered online will be taught by highly trained Fanshawe professors and teaching staff.
  • You will have live, online access to your professors every week.
  • Every program coordinator will have weekly scheduled office hours where you can connect live, ask questions and get feedback.
  • Academic advisors, who are experts in your program, are available Monday to Friday, to book live virtual appointments to discuss program pathways, accessibility referrals or create personalized academic success and progression plans.

*Refund Eligibility – Students who are registered full-time in a fall 2021 full-time post-secondary program. Students seeking a refund of tuition, ancillary and program fees, must submit a Program withdrawal form before 11:59 p.m. on September 20, 2021. The $250 non-refundable deposit will be deferred (held and applied toward a future intake within one year of the withdrawal date).

Students who are funded by the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) will need to seek advice on the impact of withdrawing as they will be required to pay back disbursed funds and will be required to reapply for OSAP for their deferred term. Part-Time, Continuing Education and Apprenticeship students are not eligible for the refund guarantee. Future intakes and applications are subject to program availability and admission requirements.

Students withdrawing during the first 10 days of class may request a refund of all tuition, ancillary and program fees paid, less the $250 non-refundable deposit. The non-refundable deposit can be deferred once, to a future intake, within 12 months of the date of withdrawal. Fanshawe is not responsible for other expenses, costs or fees incurred or related to starting at Fanshawe.
