Dave Schwartz is an international sales and marketing executive who has achieved progressive professional success since the start of his career in 1998. Dave is currently the executive director of Reputation and Brand Management and is credited with oversight of the 2014 College rebrand, introduction of the YourStory™ College reputation campaign, and successful implementation of an interdepartmental customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Prior to joining Fanshawe, Dave honed his diverse skill set with global companies like Schindler Elevator, Newell Rubbermaid, Stanley Tools and STIHL. Key accomplishments include the design and installation of a revolutionary "size in store" machine at all Lowe’s Home Improvement warehouses. This innovative system, still in use today, generated ninety million dollars of incremental sales and awarded Dave with eleven U.S. patents.
In 2005, Dave moved to London, Ontario to assume direction of STIHL Canada’s national marketing, communications and advertising activities. Under Dave’s leadership, STIHL grew to become Canada’s number one selling brand of outdoor power equipment.
In addition to his constant curiosity in evolving marketing concepts, Dave volunteers his time conducting speaking sessions on change management and personal branding. Dave is a prolific writer and an aspiring chef who draws on his past international travels to explore culinary combinations that push the boundaries of spice and flavour.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
