Tammie has arranged her legal practice to work in-house with a few hand-picked clients who are innovative entrepreneurs each focussed on growth and profitability. At Decade Group, Tammie works with management on real estate development projects. At BioConnect, Tammie is part of the management team growing an innovative identity management solution provider. Tammie also advises management on practical legal and business issues at Oak Trust Company, a niche trust company in Ontario operating in the fiduciary and family office market. She practised corporate and estates law for over 10 years in law firms in London before changing the focus of her legal practice to an in-house business environment.
Tammie graduated from the University of Western Ontario with her Bachelor of Arts in 1990 and completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ottawa in 1994. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1996.
Tammie is involved in the community, having been on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of London & District, serving as a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee at London Health Sciences Foundation, chairing events for the Wraparound Initiative, and she is currently serving as President Jewish London.
