Ontario’s chief medical officer of health has announced that most remaining mask mandates in the province will be lifted as of Saturday, June 11. With many events taking place throughout June that will involve a high volume of interactions between employees, students and guests, Fanshawe will be removing the requirements for masks to be worn on campus effective Monday, June 27. This decision has been made in consultation with local public health officials.
Masking indoors is still strongly encouraged beyond June 27, and individual choices regarding masking will be respected.
Recommendations and requirements related to masks and other public safety measures will be revisited over the coming months. If needed, these requirements will be reintroduced. We will continue to provide updates as they are available.
