(London, Ontario) – The round robin play has come to an end and after 56 matches and numerous extra ends, the stage is set for the playoff rounds.

Women's Draw:

The Women's side has the OCAA Champion Seneca Sting in the top spot with a record of 6-1.  They will have a bye to the finals on Saturday at 5pm EST.  In the semi-final, last season's CCAA gold and bronze medalists will battle it out as the host Fanshawe Falcons will take on the NAIT Ooks.  Both teams finished the round robin with records of 5-2, with the Falcons winning the match up between them back on Wednesday morning by a score of 8-6.  The winner will face the Sting for the National Championship.

Men's Draw:

The Sault Cougars won their final round robin draw over the Humber Hawks to come out on top of the Men's division with a record of 5-2.  The Hawks would also finish with a record of 5-2 and be placed in second.  Then came the tiebreakers.  Three teams, the Fleming Knights, Augustana Vikings and Fanshawe Falcons all finished with a record of 4-3.  After determining their placing, the Knights would come out as the higher seed and the Vikings and Falcons would have to play in the first tiebreaker game to see who would play in the second tiebreaker versus the Knights.  The Vikings would win in extra ends 7-6 and will now face the Knights on Saturday morning at 8am, with the winner advancing to the semi-final.
