Fanshawe College is saddened to learn of the passing of Lawrence (Larry) Kinlin. Larry was an entrepreneur and a philanthropist who led by example with an indomitable spirit. His ties with Fanshawe ran very deep. Larry was involved in the first capital campaign at the College and served on the Foundation Board for five years, becoming chairman of the highly successful $100 million Remarkable Campaign.
In 2008, Larry made a special commitment to Fanshawe, culminating with the naming of the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business. In 2012, Fanshawe recognized Larry's commitment to the College with the presentation of an Honorary Diploma and an Alumni Award of Distinction at the Hall of Fame Dinner earlier this year.
