(London, Ontario) –Ontario Volleyball has announced that Fanshawe Men's and Women's Volleyball Head Coaches Patrick Johnston and Sean Pellow have been named as Head Coaches of the 16U Team Ontario Men's and Women's Volleyball teams respectively.

The teams will be competing in the National Team Challenge Cup, a tournament at Brock University in July where all provinces compete against one another.  The tournament acts as a showcase for Team Canada to select members for their Youth and Junior National team programs.

Johnson, head coach of the current Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) #3 ranked Fanshawe Men's Volleyball team, was the assistant coach of Team Ontario in 2015. He also directs the Volleyball Canada Centre of Excellence at Fanshawe College and is the Executive and Technical Director of the London Fire Volleyball Club.

Pellow, head coach of the 10-3 Fanshawe Women's Volleyball team, was a previous region 3 head coach.  He was also previously an assistant coach with Western University, a head coach in the Forest City Volleyball Club, as well as at the High School level.  He has won a number of championships during his coaching career including a national championship in 2013 with his under 16 Forest City club team.
