(London, Ontario) – In only his first season as Head Coach, Fanshawe's Rob Pereira has been named the OCAA Coach of the Year. Pereira coached the Falcons to a 7-1-2 league record, good for first place in the OCAA West Division.

This season, the Men's Soccer team cracked the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) National Rankings for six consecutive weeks. They also punched their ticket to the 2015 OCAA Provincial Championship, being held October 29-31 at Humber College.

Pereira will be the OCAA nominee for the CCAA Coach of the Year, which will be announced on November 10. The Fanshawe Falcons will play their first game of the OCAA Championship today at 9:30am versus the Niagara Knights (3-5-2).
