Fanshawe's students have a competitive edge thanks to Co-Curricular Record (CCR)

Fanshawe College students will have the opportunity to showcase their involvement and growth outside the classroom thanks to the launch of the Co-Curricular Record (CCR).

The CCR gives students a personalized account of campus life activities that is validated by staff and faculty members, and complements their academic transcript. It is a College-wide recognized document that can be used to enhance a resume, portfolio or academic applications.

To date, more than 300 students have explored the CCR site with more than 160 campus life activities available to be included.

“When we combine our academic programming with a rich student experience, our College graduates become those candidates that employers are seeking to hire,” says Cathie Auger, Fanshawe's vice-president of student services. “Employers recognize the transferable skills learned through activities outside the classroom and this can help set Fanshawe graduates apart.”

The CCR launch will be celebrated at a special event at Fanshawe's London campus tomorrow.

Date:Tuesday, February 4, 2014
Time:Noon to 1 p.m.
Location:Alumni Lounge (located in the Student Centre, room 2013. See campus map)
