Second consecutive first place win at the 2015 CPA Ontario Competition.
Fanshawe has won gold for the second consecutive year at the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Ontario Case Competition.
The competition is an opportunity for accounting students to test their financial problem-solving skills in a timed and judged case study against 20 teams from 14 other Ontario colleges.
Fanshawe students Kaytie Ayerhart and Brandon Glasser earned the gold medal. They were coached by Fanshawe faculty members Sue Deakin, Linda Riley and Mike Tucker.

Brandon and Kaytie are in the final term of the Business Administration – Accounting advanced diploma program. They plan to continue their education at Fanshawe and complete the Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting degree program which the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business is launching this spring.
As winners of the 2015 CPA Case Competition, Fanshawe will host the event again next year in March 2016.
