Fanshawe ranks near the top world-wide for international students.

Fanshawe College continues to excel in serving and satisfying its growing population of international students. According to the results on the 2014 i-graduate International Student Barometer (ISB) survey, Fanshawe ranks second in the world and first among Ontario colleges for student satisfaction. The College finished first in the world in the learning category with an overall satisfaction rate of 93.5 per cent.

The 2014 survey drew responses from 183 institutions worldwide. At Fanshawe, 331 Fanshawe students responded.

Based in the United Kingdom, i-graduate International Insight delivers various tools and studies for the education sector. The ISB survey asks international students to rank their institutions in several specific categories related to learning, college life, support services and other key areas.

"These are very promising results," said Brianne Dos Santos, Fanshawe's international projects and exchange coordinator." The College works really hard to ensure our international students have a wonderful experience while studying at Fanshawe and living in the city of London. This survey shows we are doing a great job."

The continual improvement of "Fanshawe Cares", a full suite of arrival and settlement services designed to ease the transition to life in Canada, London and Fanshawe, helped contribute to the increased satisfaction results.

"I am so impressed with the arrival services provided by Fanshawe. When I arrived in September, everyone was really helpful and welcoming and made sure that I had the information I needed to be successful from the start," said Fanshawe student Elsa Gao, who is from China.
