Fanshawe is pleased to announce the hiring of Gillian Sneddon as its new executive director, Advancement and Alumni. With more than 20 years of advancement and alumni experience obtained across social, health and higher education sectors, Ms. Sneddon is a results-oriented professional who will build on the success of Fanshawe's Remarkable Campaign to develop and achieve new strategic goals for the College.
Ms. Sneddon began her career as an area manager at London's Heart and Stroke Foundation. She accepted the position of director of annual and planned giving at the London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) and was promoted to the role of vice-president, Community Development and Partnerships. She served as the director of alumni and development with the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University. Prior to accepting her new role at Fanshawe, she served as both the executive director, advancement with the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering and executive director of special projects within the division of university advancement at the University of Toronto.
