Men's Volleyball
March 21, 2015

(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today that Sean McKay, Assistant Coach of the Fanshawe Falcons Men's Volleyball Team, has accepted a four-month contract as the Director of Volleyball Operations for the St. Vincent and Grenadines Volleyball Association (SVGVA) in the Caribbean.

McKay will be in charge of implementing an action plan that was created over the past four years by the SVGVA. The plan was designed to meet three main objectives; coach training, talent identification and developing grassroots programming.

"I'm honoured to be given the opportunity to travel to Vincy," said McKay. "I'm excited to share my knowledge with the country while soaking in what their culture has to offer, both on and off the court. This is a great chance to give back to the sport that has given me so much in life."

This past season, McKay helped coach the Falcons to a fourth place finish at the OCAA Provincial Championships after finishing the regular season in third place (12-6) in a very tough OCAA West Division. He will return in July to continue preparations for the Falcons 2015-16 season.
