Fanshawe celebrates Unbound Fashion Show’s 10th anniversary
March 30, 2016

Mark your calendars. On Saturday, April 9, Fanshawe College's Alumni Association presents the Unbound fashion show with collections from upcoming graduate fashion designers. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the show and in celebration, Fanshawe College alumni designers, as well as renowned Canadian fashion designer David Dixon, will be presenting collections along with the graduating class.

The graduates of the Fashion Design program look forward to showing off their hard work and dedication with a five-look collection that represents themselves in a unique and creative way. Through its success, Unbound has garnered a notable following both in the London community and amongst Toronto industry leaders.

“I am truly excited and inspired by the 2016 graduates of Fanshawe's Fashion Program. Not only are we celebrating great designs tonight, we are also celebrating a legacy of 10 years of great design,” notes designer and student mentor, David Dixon.

Returning judges include fashion designer Franco Mirabelli, Toronto Fashion Incubator's Susan Langdon and marketing guru Gail McInnes. We are pleased to have television personality Glen Baxter return as emcee.

“I can't believe it has been ten years since we started Unbound in my graduating year,” remarks Brandon Dwyer, class of 2007.  “I am always excited to see each and every Unbound show and Unbound Magazine. Every year I am impressed with the workmanship and voice of all the graduates. Without Fanshawe and the amazing faculty, none of our graduates would be where they are today.”
