The Western Fair Agriplex was a sea of red on Monday, November 9 when Fanshawe College celebrated the convocation of more than 600 graduates during one ceremony. Families and friends gathered with Fanshawe representatives to celebrate the achievements of students graduating from all faculties of the London Campus. Fanshawe President Peter Devlin presented Canadian fashion icon David Dixon with an honorary diploma for his contribution to the Fanshawe College community.
During the ceremony, Fanshawe presented the Dean's Academic Awards and the Governor General's Academic Medal to those exceptional graduates who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence.
“At Fanshawe, we aim to unlock the potential of students through a promise to educate, engage, empower and excite in everything we do,” said Fanshawe President Devlin. “Convocation reinforces this promise and we are proud of the accomplishments of each of our graduates.”
President Peter Devlin continued, “These graduates join more than 167,000 Fanshawe alumni who are contributing to the economy in our region and around the world. I wish them the very best as they embark on the next phase of their lives. We look forward to celebrating their achievement together with family and friends at this special time.”
