October 7, 2016

(London, Ontario) – Last night in Windsor, Ontario the Fanshawe Men's Baseball team (7-5) defeated the St. Clair Saints (9-1) in the first game of their doubleheader by a score of 5-3.  After being down 3-1 heading to the final inning of play, the Falcons rallied with four runs in the top of the seventh to take the lead.  Before that loss, the Saints had not been defeated in OCAA play since Sept. 20 of 2014 – a 41 game streak that started over 2 years ago.  The Falcons next game takes place on Tuesday, October 11 at Labatt Park versus the Humber Hawks (7-5).  The games are at 5pm and 7:30.

For Fanshawe Men's Baseball at Labatt Park, general admission tickets are $5 per person, with free admission for kids under six and Fanshawe students with valid student ID. Tickets are cash only and will be available at the gates of Labatt Park on Falcons game days, one hour prior to game time. Due to construction at Labatt Park, there will be no on-site parking for the duration of the season.  Fans are to park on Wilson Avenue or the surrounding side streets.
