(London, Ontario) – For the fifth consecutive week, three Fanshawe teams are ranked in the top fifteen in the country in the latest Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) rankings.


The Men's Volleyball team (8-0) moved up to #5 in the country after back-to-back sweeps of Boréal (0-8) and Cambrian (1-7) last weekend. On Wednesday, the Falcons will look to remain unbeaten when they host the St. Clair Saints (5-3) at 8pm. Other OCAA Men's Volleyball teams that are ranked nationally include Georgian (2), Humber (12) and Redeemer (13).


The Fanshawe Women's Volleyball team (7-1) is ranked #14 nationally this week. The Falcons defeated Boréal (0-8) in three straight sets last Saturday, then won 3-1 over Cambrian (3-5) on Sunday. Fanshawe will battle a tough St. Clair (6-2) team, who is right behind the Falcons in the OCAA West Division standings, at home on Wednesday at 6pm. Other OCAA Women's Volleyball teams represented in the CCAA rankings include Humber (4) and Niagara (15).


The Falcons Women's Basketball team (7-2) is also #14 in the latest CCAA rankings. Fanshawe went 1-1 last week, with a 65-53 win over Redeemer (3-5) and then a 95-67 loss to #1 Humber on the road. The Falcons will be back at home on Thursday, November 30, when they will take on the Lambton Lions (0-8) at 6pm. Other ranked OCAA Women's Basketball teams include Humber (1) and Mohawk (10).
