Research partnership with IT Sligo, Ireland.
Fanshawe College has signed its first formalized international research agreement with the Institute of Technology Sligo, Ireland.
This agreement establishes a formal partnership and creates the framework for conducting simultaneous research, collaborative research, and research exchanges between the two institutions.
There are currently two projects underway, one related to medicinal use of honey and the other related to concrete additives.
Clockwise from top: Patrick Lynch, international manager, Institute of Technology Sligo; Peter Devlin, President, Fanshawe College; Dan Douglas, Dean, Centre for Research and Innovation, Fanshawe College.
This research agreement follows on the heels of a highly successful articulation agreement established in 2013 that provides a pathway for graduates of the Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, and Construction Engineering Technology programs to complete a BSc (Hons) in Construction Project Management.
We are very excited about the many opportunities this agreement will provide for the staff of our two institutions.
