Law Clerk and Paralegal students participate in Feed the Hungry event.

On Sunday, January 25, 2015, a group of student and faculty volunteers from the Law Clerk and Paralegal programs participated in the London Lawyers Feed the Hungry hospitality/charitable meal event held at St. Paul's Cathedral located at 472 Richmond Street, London, ON.

London Lawyers Feed the Hungry is a charitable organization supported by a group of committed volunteers who have made the issues of homelessness, poverty and hunger in their community a personal mission of action. Together, they are making sure London and Middlesex-area residents have access to meal or food programs in times of need.

At Sunday's event, Fanshawe's volunteers assisted with meal preparations, greeting/welcoming, serving and cleanup tasks. Our volunteers were a fantastic group who did a fantastic job, impressing the organizers and meal recipients with their zeal, great spirit and work ethic. Our volunteers did Fanshawe proud!

The event was a tremendous success, with more meals being served to more people than London Lawyers Feed the Hungry has had for a very long time. The Law Clerk and Paralegal programs look forward to sending volunteers to future events, and to assisting with fundraising and future initiatives.
