Fanshawe's London Campus will welcome record numbers of international students in September 2016 - a 16 per cent increase compared to last year. More than 2,400 students from 70 countries will attend Fanshawe, with more than 1,000 students in first-year.

“International students gravitate to where they feel they belong and where they can see themselves,” says Wendy Curtis, executive director of Fanshawe's International Centre. “Fanshawe College is that place for a number of reasons, including an exceptional classroom experience with professors who have worked in the industry. Students also see themselves being successful in the city of London.”

Amongst the new students starting their first day at Fanshawe are two sets of twins from China. Si Mei Lei and Chi In Lei, and Tian Huan Yang and Tian Xiao Yang, will begin classes at the College on Tuesday, September 6.

This year, 10 new programs are also being launched at the College, including an advanced diploma in Fire Inspection and Fire Safety Education and a graduate certificate in Advanced Ergonomic Studies, the first programs of its kind in Canada.

Students will begin moving into residence on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, 2016.
