College to launch deal-winning tool for students to learn about saving and investing

On Wednesday, November 25, media mogul Bruce Croxon, former Dragon from CBC's Dragon's Den, was at Fanshawe College to discuss entrepreneurship and money management. Croxon was joined by Dragon's Den winner Kevin Cochran, co-founder of enRICHed Academy, the business he pitched during the show's seventh season.

Fanshawe's Financial Aid Services department held a launch celebration to introduce students to enRICHed Start, the higher-ed version of enRICHed Academy. Croxon and Cochran spoke to students in Forwell Hall at the event, supported by the Fanshawe Student Union and the Leap Junction entrepreneurship team.

EnRICHed Start is a financial literacy tool designed for post-secondary institutions by Cochran and business partner Todd Peterson. The College has adopted it for students, staff and recent graduates to learn more about the fundamentals of saving and investing, building wealth and starting their own businesses.
