(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Women's Soccer team is now 4-0-0 after Saturday afternoon's win at home. The Falcons defeated Conestoga College (0-4-0) by a score of 3-0. Fanshawe continues to lead the OCAA West Division.

 

Fanshawe wasted no time getting on the board, scoring in the 8th minute when Niki McDonald put a left footed shot in the back of the net. In the 41st minute, Fanshawe's Katie Rowe scored off a great cross by Aylien Wattel. The Falcons outshot the Condors 6-2 in the first 45 minutes.

 

In the second half, Jade Kovacevic scored her 13th goal of the season in minute 70. She has now tied the Fanshawe College record for most goals in a season, after only five games. Fanshawe leads the OCAA West Division in goals against, as Julie Rovere notched her third shutout of the season.

              

Fanshawe will head to Sarnia to play against Lambton College on Wednesday, September 30. Game time will be at 5pm.
