(London, Ontario) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced on Tuesday that Fanshawe Falcon student-athlete, Ian Kerrigan was named the OCAA Baseball Athlete of the Week.

After an 0-for-7 slump to begin the season, second-year player Ian Kerrigan (Plympton-Wyoming) produced a batting average and then some in Fanshawe's three straight wins in Toronto. Kerrigan went 6-for-11, scoring two runs in each victory. He also drove in a pair, and stole a base as Fanshawe defeated George Brown 6-4, then swept Seneca in a doubleheader 5-2 and 11-2. Kerrigan is now batting .333.

Kerrigan and the Men's Baseball team will be in action again on Saturday, October 3, when they travel to take on the Durham Lords at 1pm and 3:30pm.
