Fanshawe graduate Jennifer Garrow has received the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) Award of Excellence for achieving the highest mark out of all the 2016 National Certification Exam sittings in Canada.

Jen, a graduate from the Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) program class of 2016, received the award at the CAMRT annual conference gala in Ottawa on April 29. She is currently working part time at St. Joseph's hospital as a Medical Radiation Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging, while pursuing a post graduate certificate in MRI.

"Not only is Jen a very bright young lady, she is kind, compassionate and an exemplary professional," says professor and program coordinator Kathy Parker. "The MRT team is so proud of her and her accomplishments."

Jen is also expected to receive an award from the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences group soon for having the highest mark in Ontario.
