Fanshawe to host 2015 CPA Ontario Case Competition.

Fanshawe will host students from 16 college campuses across Ontario for the 2015 Chartered Professional Accountants Ontario (CPA) Case Competition on Saturday, March 14, 2015.

Fanshawe was selected to host this year's competition after winning gold at the 2014 event.

The competition is an opportunity for accounting students to test their financial problem-solving skills in a timed and judged case study against teams from other Ontario colleges.

Participants will have 120 minutes to devise a resolution for the case study. Teams of two to three students will have 15 minutes to present their solutions to a panel of judges. The students will also face five minutes of questioning.

"Fanshawe is thrilled to host the 2015 CPA Case Competition," says Mary Pierce, chair of the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business. "This competition gives students a tremendous opportunity to test their skills in a challenging and real-world environment."
