Fanshawe College is a community college providing post-secondary education, skills training and upgrading to more than 45,500 full-time and part-time students in Elgin, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford and Huron-Perth counties. The College has an annual operating budget of approximately $330 million and over 3,000 employees.

 

The Board of Governors of Fanshawe College is seeking applications for membership to fill three vacancies on the Board commencing September 1, 2021.
 

The Board sets the Vision and Mission of the College and develops and monitors policies to ensure Fanshawe College fulfills these important aspirations. The Board governs in constructive partnership with the President in pursuit of the Mission. Members of the Board are volunteers who serve without remuneration for up to two, three-year terms of office.


An individual with knowledge and expertise in any of the following skills is an asset: education, finance, IT and cybersecurity or the skilled trades. Experience in policy governance, competitive strategies and regulatory environments is also welcome.
