The Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus and the Lawrence Kinlin School have formed a partnership to offer business programming at the Simcoe Campus. The Business diploma will be offered at Simcoe in the fall of 2016.
“We have a lot of community demand for business programming in the Simcoe area,” said Donna Gates, chair of the Simcoe/Norfolk Regional Campus. “We feel that expanding our existing Fanshawe programs into this area could be very beneficial.”
Students can complete the Business diploma in Simcoe and take advantage of online deliveries and electives through the London campus as needed. These students may be eligible to ladder to the Business Administration Leadership and Management Advanced diploma program, or transfer to the new Bachelor of Commerce in Management degree program. The new BComm program will also be available online in the fall of 2017, further expanding options for these students. Students studying in the Business diploma have the option of completing a semester abroad in Europe through the over 20 exchange agreements attached to this program.
“With the introduction of online programming and flexible deliveries, we have more options to partner with the area campuses and create new opportunities,” commented Mary Pierce, chair of the Lawrence Kinlin School. "We are delighted to have this opportunity to partner with the Simcoe Campus.”
