(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe College is the proud host of the OCAA Provincial Curling Championships starting this Wednesday February 13, 2013. The competition is taking place at the St. Thomas Curling Club in St. Thomas, with the first draw beginning at 9pm on Wednesday. The gold medal finals are set for 2pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013.

Ten different colleges from across Ontario will be represented at the tournament, with Fanshawe being ranked number 1 after winning the National Championships last season.

Nathan McFadden, Manager of Athletics is looking forward to hosting the Championships. "Fanshawe College is very excited to host some of the top young curling talent in Ontario for this event. We look forward to watching these student-athletes compete for the OCAA Championship."

The tournament is free to attend and live scoring will also be taking place throughout the tournament
