(London, Ontario) – This morning at the OCAA Men's Basketball Championship Banquet in Welland, two members of the Fanshawe Falcons Men's Basketball team were honoured for their accomplishments this season.


Chris Parker OCAA West Division First Team All-Star:  Chris Parker (Toledo, OH) led the Falcons this season with 20.3 points per game, good for 4th place in the West Division. He shot 43.1% from the field, 38.0% from beyond the arc and 82.8% from the free throw line. Parker also added 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game.


Sean ClendinningOCAA West Division Second Team All-Star:  Sean Clendinning (Orillia, ON) had an outstanding year for Fanshawe, averaging 19.4 points per game (5th in West). He shot 46.1% from the field, 41.7% from three point range and 83.6% from the charity stripe. Clendinning also added 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game.


The Falcons will play in a quarterfinal game at the OCAA Provincial Championship on Thursday at 8:00pm against the #14 nationally ranked Sheridan Bruins. The OCAA Championships are being hosted by Niagara College.
