Canadore stayed within reach with a 5-0 run of their own. A huge kill by Katie Stewart (Gananoque, ON) got the home team back on track, and the Falcons would go on to win the first set, 25-17.

In the second set, good serving by Jamie McKee (London, ON) gave the Falcons an early 4-1 lead. The red and white continued to press offensively but the Panthers held their own, keeping the score close at 15-13 midway through the set. Canadore then took the lead late in the set and Fanshawe was unable to recover, falling 26-24.

A right side attack from Mattea Deleary (Ridgetown, ON) started the Falcons off in the third set. The teams exchanged points, as a well-placed tip from captain Darian Gropp (Kitchener, ON) tied the score at 9. A massive kill by middle Ainsley Acton (Lucan, ON) gave the Falcons momentum. Fanshawe was able to finally pull away late in the set and take the third frame 25-20 on two amazing serves from Meghan Morelli.

In the fourth set, Fanshawe had back-to-back points from Stewart to give the Falcons the lead, 16-14. Fanshawe stretched that lead to 22-17 on a kill from Tarea Heshka (Erin, ON). Despite Canadore's best efforts, the Falcons went on to win the match 3-1 on a 25-20 final set win.
