We have been waiting to welcome you to Fanshawe! On May 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. we are opening the doors at our campuses in London, Clinton, Simcoe, St. Thomas and Woodstock for you to Explore Fanshawe!
Here are our tips for making the most of your Explore Fanshawe experience:
1 Register in advance and make a plan
- Register in advance at fanshawec.ca/explorefanshawe
- Determine which location(s) you want to visit and find directions
- Research what programs you want to explore if you considering applying
- Follow Fanshawe College on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord and Reddit for help with questions during the event and throughout your entire Fanshawe experience.
2 Come prepared to ask questions
This is your opportunity to speak with faculty, college experts and current students. We are here to answer all your questions and provide you with insight into our student experience. Visit program hubs and our Student Services Showcase for answers you might need.
Here are a few questions you might want to ask:
- What hands-on learning opportunities does this program offer?
- Is there a co-op, placement or internship with this program?
- What types of jobs are graduates of this program getting?
- How can I best prepare to be successful at Fanshawe?
- What kind of stuff happens on campus?
- How do I get involved in campus life?
- Who do I talk to when I am struggling with my academic?
- What support is available if I am struggling with my mental health?
- Are there any academic accommodations to help me if I have an accessibility need?
3 Have fun!
The Fanshawe Student Union creates one of the best student experiences in the country and they are ready to introduce you to the fun ahead in the 2022/23 school year!
