Health Care Certification
A full complement of first aid and CPR training to help workplaces comply with both federal and provincial occupational health and safety legislation. This expanded list of first aid training for individuals and businesses can be delivered when and where it is convenient for you and your teams.
SFA, CPR (Level C or HCP) & AED
2 Days - Register
This course meets the WSIB 1101 First Aid training requirements for workplaces. A variety of topics are covered from basic first aid such as: cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR, prevention of disease transmission to more severe sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training is also provided with the course
SFA (Level C or HCP) AED Recertification 1
1 Day - Register
Participants MUST produce a valid Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid certificate to take the recertification course. All Standard First Aid topics are covered as well as CPR (level C or HCP) and AED. Successful participants will receive Canadian Red Cross recertification that is valid for 3 years.
CPR (Level C or HCP) & AED
1/2 Day - Register
This course is designed to meet annual certification requirements and provide CPR lifesaving skills and training based on participants' background, needs and interest. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training is also provided with the course.
This course teaches techniques for sustaining life, preventing further injuries, and caring for illnesses and injuries until the next level of medical personnel arrives. Includes CPR level HCP and AED. PREREQUISITES: Participant must be certified in CPR level C
Emergency Medical Responder
This course is for those providing emergency response including firefighters, law-enforcement officers, and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel. Includes CPR level HCP and AED. PREREQUISITES: Participant must be certified in Standard First Aid with CPR level C.
Mental Health First Aid
MHFA Basic is intended for adults interacting with adults (18 years and older). This workshop focuses on the four most common mental health disorders including substance related, mood related, anxiety and trauma related, and psychotic disorders. Participants who take this workshop are well prepared to interact confidently about mental health with their family, friends, communities, and workplaces.
