Indigenous Music, Arts and Culture Celebration
Fanshawe College's First Nations Centre and First Nations Studies Program Major teamed up to present the Indigenous Music, Arts and Culture Celebration on February 12, 2014.
Nimkii-nini (Thunder-man) from Wikwemikong unceded territory shared both hand drum songs and a hoop dance demonstration. World renowned musician and artist David R. Maracle performed using instruments from around the world. A free lunch of Three Sisters Soup was provided and artists and artisans were on hand to display their work.
Brought to you by Fanshawe's First Nations Centre and First Nations Studies (General Arts & Science Major), in collaboration with Indigenous Message. Also in partnership with the Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) and Sustainability at Fanshawe College.
- The Fanshawe College 2020 United Way campaign kicked off October 8, 2020 and will run until the end of January 2021.
