As the Principal of both Auburn Developments and Terracorp Management, Karen has built many communities across Southwestern Ontario.
Through Auburn — which builds high-rise rental buildings and subdivision communities — and TerraCorp — which provides property management for multi-residential buildings — her companies have completed projects in London, Kitchener, Waterloo, Barrie and, even, as far away as Montreal. Some of their landmark buildings include: The Harriston, a 23-storey, luxury apartment building in downtown London; The Arrow Lofts, a unique residence in one of downtown Kitchener’s converted factories; and The Watercrest, a 15-storey apartment building with stunning views of Barrie’s Waterfront.
Karen has also recently overseen the development of the impressive Barrel Yards district, an exciting redevelopment of vacant industrial land in Waterloo that includes high-rise condos, apartments, live/work spaces, offices and the brand new Delta Waterloo hotel.
After receiving her Honours in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario in 1992, Karen also earned her Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1996.
