Once it has been created, you will receive a username and password from a representative in your School. This password will permit you to log into your assigned workstation system, classroom computers, as well as FanshaweOnline and all other College administrative systems and services.
The MyFanshawe Portal (https://portal.myfanshawe.ca) provides access to shared teaching resources, professional development and training opportunities through FanshaweLearns, policies, forms, and divisional information. It also provides access to the WebAdvisor tool, where you can access and print class lists, and also enter mid-term and final grades.
You have access to two college email accounts. Please check both frequently.
• An “FOL” account in the format firstname.lastname@example.org. This address is to be used exclusively for communication with students. This account can be accessed through www.fanshaweonline.ca.
• An “Exchange” email address in the format email@example.com. This address is for non-student correspondence within the College and the School. You will receive important information via this email address, so please check it frequently. You should not give this email out to students. This account can be accessed through www.fanshawec.ca/exchange
Once you have an employee number, you can obtain a Fanshawe Employee Card. To being, please submit your photo the FANCard webpage, through MyPhoto. (ensure you choose “College Staff” as location). Once you receive your photo approval email, pick up is from the FANCard Office, Room E2020, London campus or email firstname.lastname@example.org for delivery if located at another campus.
Once you have your card in hand, please see your school or department assistant to have your card activated. Your activated card provides ‘swipe’ access to your School office and some classrooms.
