Are you registered in a co-op program? Does your program have a placement requirement? You may be able to find an appropriate co-op or placement abroad!

Students are responsible for securing their positions abroad and ensuring that the placement is pre-approved by their co-op consultant and/or program coordinator. Students can search for appropriate positions using the resources in our work abroad section.

Once you have secured an approved position abroad the International office can provide support and guidance in your visa applications, finding accommodation overseas, possible scholarship opportunities, etc.

Sample placement abroad:

In 2016, five students from the Autism and Behavioural Studies program completed a 4-week placement with the Global Autism Project & SOREM (Society of the Rehabilitation of the Mentally Challenged) school in Chandigarh, India.
