The majority of students who study on exchange have 100% of their credits taken abroad transfer back to their Fanshawe program. Some students choose to take 1 or 2 online Fanshawe classes while they are on exchange, if an appropriate course match cannot be found abroad.
Before you leave Canada, you will meet with your program coordinator to discuss your class selection abroad. You will research the class options at your host school and prepare a ‘Learning Agreement’ for your program coordinator to approve. The Learning Agreement will outline which classes you will take abroad and which credits they will transfer back to Fanshawe.
The majority of students who study abroad on exchange return to Fanshawe and continue in their program with no delay in their academic progression.
