Fanshawe Cares is a program that represents the attitude of the staff, students and volunteers in the International Centre as well as the College itself. It offers the best start possible on your journey with Fanshawe College.
Fanshawe International Arrival Services for the September 2019 intake:
Arrival Services will run from Sunday, August 18, 2019 to Friday, August 30, 2019. The College will be closed Monday, September 2, 2019 for the Labour Day holiday. Orientation Day will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
Arrival Services MUST be booked a minimum of 72 hours before you leave your home country. If you are arriving outside of the dates of service, Fanshawe International will arrange for transportation from Toronto's Pearson International Airport to London, Ontario. If you are an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) student with a start date other than the dates listed, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that these services are arranged and paid for by Fanshawe College International. If you do not intend to use the services you have arranged through us, you need to notify us to cancel the booking at email@example.com. If you do not let us know, charges may apply to your Fanshawe College account.
The Fanshawe Cares program offers a full suite of arrival services AT NO CHARGE to all new International students and includes the following:
- Airport Greeting Service run by student ambassadors;
- Transportation shuttle service from Pearson Airport in Toronto to London, Ontario;
- Two nights accommodation provided (if needed);
- Assistance with finding a place to live and opening a bank account (if needed).
Also, as part of the Fanshawe Cares program, the International Centre hosts a Welcome Session each semester to get you acquainted with the College and its services as well as to connect you with other international students.
Are you arriving with family?
If you are arriving with family, you will be asked to provide a credit card authorization form to pay for the cost of your family members.
