| BIMM-6001 | BIM Technology | 8 | ||
| In this course, students will explore the various Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies and practice BIM processes using BIM-enabled software. Autodesk Revit will be the primary platform used by students to further develop BIM models and apply advanced modeling techniques. | ||||
| BIMM-6002 | BIM Software Integration | 4 | ||
| In this course, students will explore BIM-enabled software and integration practices. Students will apply and integrate together models from different disciplines to further explore BIM's potential and collaboration capabilities. The focus will be on the integration of construction-specific models. | ||||
| MGMT-6099 | BIM Management 1 | 1.5 | ||
| In this course, students will research, explore, and apply BIM Management techniques. Students will synthesize the management of internal BIM models and apply collaboration methods to External BIM models & data. | ||||
| COMM-6019 | Advanced Professional Communication | 3 | ||
| This course focuses on refining and advancing students workplace communication abilities. The advanced communication documents and strategies covered include presentation skills, research skills, business document writing, meeting and management team strategies, business etiquette, and advanced employment communications. Additionally, students learn about interpersonal and intercultural communication (high/low and monochromic/polychromic context) concepts and strategies. | ||||
| MGMT-6100 | Integrated Practice for AEC Sector | 2 | ||
| In this course, students will investigate the emergence of BIM in the AEC sector. Discussions will focus on the applications of contractual methods common to the AEC sector and include the introduction of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) as a contractual method. The dependency of IPD on BIM will also be examined. | ||||

| BIMM-6005 | BIM Integrated Project-Capstone | 9 | ||
| Students will complete a multi-disciplinary project with emphasis on BIM implementation, communication of multi-disciplinary teams and application of integrated practice. | ||||
| ENGR-6003 | Building Energy Modelling | 3 | ||
| In this course, students will be introduced to energy modeling platforms and will manipulate BIM models to allow for energy analysis. | ||||
| MGMT-6101 | BIM Management 2 | 2 | ||
| In this course, students will examine advanced management techniques for BIM. Students will apply advanced management strategies to BIM projects in a lab-based environment. | ||||
| BIMM-6003 | Practical Implementation of BIM | 2 | ||
| In this course, students will be exposed to the various considerations for industry participants looking to implement BIM technology and processes in their workplace or business. Students will identify the benefit of BIM and outline the criteria for developing a BIM implementation plan. | ||||
| BIMM-6004 | Digital Presentations in Construction | 3 | ||
| In this course, students will be introduced to visualizations using BIM tools. Digital visualizations will be created to assist with the design and construction of a project by creating images; animations; virtual reality presentations. | ||||

| Students Must Complete a Minimum of 10 credits in this Program at Fanshawe College to meet the Program Residency requirement and Graduate from this Program. | ||||
