Stage 1: Applications
Applications for the Student showcase can be submitted online through our form. You can submit more than one project but must do so on individual forms.
Applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020. Any entries received after this deadline will not be considered. Fanshawe College is not liable for any IT issues encountered during submission. Individuals or teams must electronically submit an entry form in the prescribed format. Each individual and/or individual team member must be identified on the form. The person who submits the entry on behalf of the team is solely responsible for ensuring that all team members are accurately registered on the entry form. In the event of a win, the cash prize will be divided equally among all registered team members.
Stage 2: Notification of finalists
The Research and Innovation Day selection committee will review all entries to determine eligibility. Finalists will be notified by email no later than Monday, February 24, 2020 and invited to exhibit their projects at Research and Innovation Day 2020. Information sessions for finalists will be held shortly after the notification (please see the Participant Information page).
Terms and Conditions
Individuals or teams must electronically submit a Student Entry Form in the prescribed format. Refer to the How to Apply section for details.
By submitting an entry to the Research and Innovation Day competition, the person submitting the entry on behalf of himself/herself or a team agrees that he/she has accurately listed all team members on the entry form and accepts responsibility for ensuring that every team member has been listed.
Notification of Acceptance
Semi-finalists will be chosen and notified by Monday, February 24, 2020.

- Fanshawe College will defer all in-person classes scheduled for the summer semester and intends to offer a blended delivery of programs in the fall.
- In 2018, Ayden Miller (keyboard/synthesizer), Stefan Boulineau (lead vocals) and Cole Wilson (lead guitar) formed their band New Friends while working together in the studio of Fanshawe Music Industry Arts program.
