Ready to Submit a Project?

Everyone at Fanshawe (student, faculty, staff, anyone) can submit a project for the on-demand showcase… as long as it hasn't been featured in RID before (Project work completed in previous years is welcome. CRI will reserve the right to limit the total number of projects that are displayed).

All student project submissions will receive a generous award! Stay tuned for more details!

Fill out the handy Online Entry Form

Entry deadline: Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Your Submission Must Include:

  • Research Poster

  • Maximum 5-minute video presentation describing your project to the internet audience (research project "elevator pitch")

    • Upload your video file through the Online Entry Form
if you have any problems please contact Andrew Kaszowski:
      a_kaszowski@fanshawec.ca or (519) 452-4430, ext. 4586
    • Record the video in any file format and upload it
    • The video can feature just you, or if it's a team project you can have one spokesperson, or submit one total maximum 5-minute edited video combining speaking from all team members. Be as creative as you wish; but always remember to maintain social distancing rules! No groups in the same shot - we won't allow it!
    • Record the video with good lighting and audio quality. You may be asked to re-record if the quality is not good
    • If possible, please submit a written transcript of your speaking notes/audio words (in a Microsoft Word file or text document. Identify the speaker's name). To save yourself a lot of time, write your script ahead of time and read it (much after than transcribing afterwards!)
    • Record your video in landscape orientation (not portrait! This website explains the difference)
