A key learning experience is an urban design charrette, where students in the GIS & Urban Planning and Landscape Design programs collaborate. This week-long project provides the opportunity to apply theory and skills learned in the classroom to a project focusing on urban development in a community.

Students also participate in an annual collaborative urban design project between the GIS and Urban Planning program and the Architectural Technology program.  Teams work together to create conceptual master plans and visualizations for a project site located on the southwest corner of Lakeshore Road and Waterworks Road in Bright’s Grove, Ontario.
