Job ready skills

One of our top priorities is to make sure graduates have the skills and confidence to get jobs quickly and to be successful.  Our faculty work with industry experts to provide opportunities for students to work on projects using the same skills as they will need on the job. Graduates can show employers a portfolio of their work demonstrating they already have what it takes to start contributing on the job right away. Our co-op opportunities are a terrific way to get job experience while still at college.

Travel and study

We value the benefits of international experiences and offer students opportunities to take part in study and travel programs. Every year we offer travel & study opportunities to locations such as Brazil, New York, Italy, and France.  Students are also involved with field trips closer to home in Canada and the US to meet industry experts and attend events related to their program of study.

Further education

We prepare students for employment but we also know that some graduates may choose to continue their education.  We support their ambitions by offering opportunities for graduates to get credit for their Fanshawe courses at universities in Canada, the UK, Europe, and Australia.  We have also set up pathways for graduates to move from diplomas and advanced diplomas into graduate certificates and degree programs at Fanshawe College.

We offer many options to consider and they can all lead to exciting jobs in design related careers.

You will find a lot of information at this website and you can also call us at 519-452-4227 to ask questions or to arrange a tour of our facilities.
