Aviation Special Projects

This course is provides Aviation Maintenance Engineer students an opportunity to engage Transport Canada Approved special projects that meet Canadian Air Regulations 566 training requirements for Aviation Technician Ab Initio programming. Under supervision of program faculty, students will engage projects including but not limited to the topics of: Aircraft Assembly and fabrication, component removal and installation, component testing and service, power plant inspection, testing, and timing, propeller balancing, adjustment and installation, and control surface testing balancing and rigging.
