Child & Youth Mental Health

Mental Health for children and teens has never been more complicated and more of a concern as it is today. Parents and caregivers often feel overwhelmed and unprepared for the issues their children are dealing with. In this course, we will review the mental health issues that many children experience and the strategies to deal with them. Building resiliency, distress tolerance and identifying suicide risk are covered, along with local resources, effective advocating, self-care and family support.
