Dynamics of Conflict

You will develop the ablility to recognize conflict situations and respond with competence and confidence, as it relates to emergency communications. Conflict situations will be examined from inception through intervention by various resource agencies. Problem-solving skills and non-violent intervention techniques will be discussed along with intervention strategies directed toward specific incidents. You will be taught to recognize behaviour patterns that may lead to violent behaviour and the appropriate responses to these behaviours. This course is offered through OntarioLearn by the host college, Durham college.
