Wildlife Rehabilitation

Wildlife Rehab Centres work with sick or injured wildlife to enable them to return to the wild. These centres need people who can volunteer and/or become Foster Care Givers at their home. To become a Foster Care Giver, you need to complete the Ontario Wildlife Rehab Exam (OWRE) - rabies portion. This course will introduce you to working with wildlife rehab and help prepare you for the OWRE exam. The last class will be a tour of a wildlife rehab centre. Note: no wildlife will be handled during this course.
