Theoretical and practical training sessions for registered millwright apprentices as well as non-apprentices. Millwrights install, test, disassemble, repair, service and construct a wide variety of stationary mechanical equipment and machinery in order for the equipment to function correctly. They use a variety of hand and power tools and techniques to perform their highly skilled trade including hoisting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC's. On completion of the program as well as the required 'on-th-job' hours apprentices have to write a trade exam (Certification of Qualification) to achieve journeyperson status.
