Microcredential Series Description
This series is designed to introduce students to the art of
podcasting. Podcast listening is a growing trend in Canada, and the
emergence and data access across mobile devices has now made
podcast consumption much easier to consume. This
micro-credential will introduce the hardware and software elements
needed for podcast creation, and will help the learner develop
audio production skills through hands-on learning experiences.
Students will explore a variety of marketing strategies that build
brand awareness, create revenue-generating opportunities and
measurable sales solutions. Whether you hope to be a successful
independent podcaster, get picked up by a distributor, or find a
job in podcasting, this series will give you the business skills to
be successful in your current work or as a podcasting
